Bus Conversionstuff is all about doing a bus conversion on a budget.
As one sage aptly put it... I was born with nothing and I have most of it left.
Would I like to own a big fancy Prevost or MCI or Setra? Sure, but I don't and other than storage space which I am always working on, I am happy with my little 1952 GMC PD4103 35' coach.
I'll probably never be able to afford one of those other buses anyway, so I'm not gonna worry about it.

What I am good at is fixing things.
I was raised at a time in the 1960's when we weren't able to go to town and buy new parts anytime something broke. My stepdad had a small logging company and made a good living for our family. If something broke while we were 60 miles up in the woods, we fixed it on the spot by trying to figure out the best way to improvise something that would work safely.

Over the years, I've learned many shortcuts from many sources in order to keep equipment up and running when failure wasn't an option. I've also worked in the building trades and know how to safely run a circuit and how to cut a straight line in wood.

There are also a lot of things that I don't know how to do and other things that I really hate to do, (like body work). I don't see these as limitations, but as ways to share my knowledge and skills, while others share their knowledge and skills with me.
